And the Story Goes…

Happy hump day readers! As I begin to write this post, I just want all of you to know that I appreciate you all taking the time(or not) to read these posts. I enjoy writing these, as they help me realize some lessons, just as I hope these posts help you realize some things in your own life. Now that all of the sappy stuff is out of the way, let’s get started.

I’ve been thinking about living in the present moment a lot lately. It is very tough to do, and the majority of people cannot seem to fully do it. However, when one does do it, whether it is for a brief moment or for longer, one starts to fully realize the beauty of life. The important thing I want too talk about here is that it does not matter the week, the day, the hour etc., you should always be living in the moment and making the most out of every minute because you truly do not know what it is going to be like the next day. The song “Do or Die” by Thirty Seconds to Mars is a fantastic description of what I am talking about. The lyrics are in this title and in the photo. Jared Leto also writes a great description underneath the music video of what the song means. The song describes a feeling that we all take for granted almost everyday and that is to live life no matter what. I chose to write this on a Wednesday because I know it is the middle of the week, people are tired from work, home/personal life and other blessings that make life go by so fast. People tend to start dragging midweek because they want the weekend but it’s still a couple days away and blah blah blah. All I’m trying to say is take a step back and truly appreciate the moment you are in. It’s probably not as bad as you’re making it out to be. Enjoy it, enjoy the little things and have this lyric play in your head ” oh the time to be alive.” Here is the link to the song “Do or Die” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GC63HGcsfEg. I highly recommend you listen to this one and gain some perspective. Please like and subscribe if you like what you’re reading! Much appreciated.
